Travel through some of Africa’s most magnificent game reserves on this Botswana & Zimbabwe Wildlife Safari ending at the spectacular Victoria Falls. Some of the many highlights will include exploring the Okavango Delta, game viewing in Hwange National Park, the Moremi Game Reserve, the famous Chobe National Park as well as  a 2 day Okavango Delta excursion.

  • Day 1: Maun

    Transfer to the hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure.

    Day 2-3: Maun - Okavango Delta

    This morning head to Etsha 13, on the western border of the Okavango Delta. The next day is spent exploring the network of water pathways through thick vegetation in mokoros, discovering a variety of birds and wildlife. Have the opportunity to stop at a secluded island to take a 1½ hour guided walk hoping to spot elephants, waterbuck or other animals living in this water filled paradise.

    Day 4: Okavango Delta - Greater Moremi

    After breakfast we head south travelling via Maun to the camp which is situated in a private concession in the Greater Moremi area. The best time for game viewing is the end of the dry season or spring from August to November. During this season, in order for us to offer the best game viewing possible, extra driving may be required due to the animals migrating closer to the river. In the summer, birdlife can also be viewed in abundance with exceptional sightings of wildfowl and raptors.

    Day 5: Greater Moremi.

    Spend the day on game drives in an open 4x4 vehicle. Enjoy a night game drive to spot some rare nocturnal animals

    Day 6: Moremi Game Reserve

    Today drive to the famous Moremi Game Reserve known as one of the most beautiful and varied reserves in Africa with an unprecedented concentration of wildlife. A full day spent in the unspoiled nature of the Moremi Game Reserve.

    Day 7: Greater Moremi - Nata

    Travel east towards the Makgadikgadi Pans. This area incorporates a vast salt pans and grass plains dotted by palm islands and forms the Great Makgadikgadi which comprises the largest area of salt pans in the world, covering some 37,000km2 overall.

    Day 8-9: Nata - Chobe

    Travel to Nata Bird Sanctuary in the morning, for the opportunity to enjoy the magnificent view over the Sowa pan, which is part of the Greater Makgadikgadi Pans (please note a visit to the pans is subject to the road conditions and water levels as well as time constraints). Continue north to Kasane, the gateway to the Chobe National Park. The afternoon is at leisure to partake in optional activities or to relax by the pool. The following day, enjoy a morning game drive in Chobe National Park and a later afternoon boat cruise on the Chobe River.

    Day 10-12: Chobe - Hwange

    Cross the border into Zimbabwe and onto the lodge located in a private concession near to Hwange National Park. This afternoon partake in an optional game drive if time allows (own expense). Over the following two days, we will have plenty of time to explore this vast wilderness on game drives. We will also visit the Painted Dog Conservation Centre to witness the work that is done to protect these endangered species.

    Day 13: Hwange - Victoria Falls

    After breakfast, head to Victoria falls for an afternoon at leisure or enjoying the many activities available in Victoria falls (own expense).

    Day 14: Victoria Falls.

    Enjoy a day at leisure. End the day with a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. (B)

    Day 15: Victoria Falls.

    Transfer to Victoria Falls Airport. End of safari.
