Accommodation
What is the accommodation used on this tour?
In true backpacking style, you’ll be staying in shared, mixed-gender hostel dorms throughout your 12-day South Korea adventure. All of the hostels we use are clean, comfortable, and well-located. In them, you’ll have all bedding provided for you, so no need to bring anything extra! Please note that during the Geumsunsa Templestay experience, you’ll sleep on the floor in traditional Korean style rather than on a bed – an authentic cultural experience to remember! Blankets, linens and pillows will be provided to sleep on the floor. If you’d prefer a little extra comfort and privacy, the following upgrade options are available. Please note, room upgrades are not available for 1 night at Geumsunsa Templestay.

Transport
All local transport within South Korea, including a mix of private transfers, comfortable local buses, public transport adventures, and even a few high-speed train rides that show off Korea’s world-class rail network. Your domestic flight to Jeju Island is included. Please note that airport transfers upon arrival in South Korea and transport for optional activities are not included.
Flights
International flights are not included in the trip price. These will need to be purchased elsewhere through an airline or agency.
The domestic flight from Busan to Jeju Island is included in the trip price, but the returning flight back to Seoul Gimpo is not. If you would like us to help you arrange a flight back to Seoul, then we can do so for an additional cost. These flights will arrive at Seoul Gimpo, the city’s domestic airport, usually before 1pm.
Insurance
Travel Insurance is not included in the trip price, but is compulsory to join the trip.
Optional
Alongside the main South Korea 12-day itinerary, you’ll have the chance to take part in a range of optional, paid activities. Some of these must be pre-booked before your trip (see the list below), while others can be arranged and paid for directly with your Adventure Leader on the ground. These activities are a fantastic way to enhance your experience, try something new, and share unique moments with your group.

- Our travel package is non-refundable, however you will receive a travel credit to be applied to our travel services.
- You, as our client, agree to check all documentation immediately for errors. Travel With A Cause (TWAC) does not take responsibility for incorrect dates or names supplied.
- Prices, including, in some cases, of confirmed bookings, may be subject to change.
- Some confirmed bookings are non-refundable if cancelled by you and it is your responsibility to check if this applies.
- We will be entitled to retain our service fees even if a booking is cancelled or does not proceed for any reason which is not our fault.
- It is your responsibility to make yourself aware of all information relevant to your travel plans, including but not limited to visa requirements and health precautions.

Covid-19 Booking Cancellation Policy
TWAC Tour packages are non-refundable. If your Tour package is affected by Covid-19-related travel restrictions and you are unable to travel, you will receive either a free date change (credit that is specific to your original package and purchase value) or an open credit less any non-recoverable supplier fees to the value of your original purchase for use on any other package available via the TWAC website.
Please note: Date change credits are subject to availability and not guaranteed until confirmed by TWAC, not the tour operator you are due to stay with.The standard cancellation policy will apply if you cannot travel because you have tested positive for Covid-19.
