Day 1: 03 July 2022 – Alice Springs
On arrival in Alice Springs, you will be met by your guide and enjoy a short day tour of Alice Springs, including a visit to the Royal Flying Doctor Base, the School of Air and the Telegraph Station. Your tour takes you to ‘Anzac Hill’ to enjoy spectacular views of ‘the Alice’ and surrounding Macdonnell Ranges.
Transfer to our hotel for check in and overnight.

Day 2: 04 July 2022 – West Macdonnell Day Tour (BL)
Full day tour to West Macdonnell Ranges – including Simpson Gap, Stanley Chasm, Glen Helen Gorge and included lunch at the Glen Helen Lodge.

Day 3: 05 July 2022 – Alice Springs to Kings Canyon (B)
Depart the hotel this morning and Visit the Erldunda Roadhouse for lunch (own expense). We can enjoy a stop at Kathleen Springs before arriving at Kings Canyon Resort for check in. Time to explore everything that Kings Canyon has to offer!
Experience drinks at the Thirsty Dingo Bar, marvel at the sunset from our purpose built Sunset Viewing Platform, experience traditional culture on the Karrke Aboriginal Tour, and of course, climb the incredible Kings Canyon Rim Walk. Tonight I think we will enjoy the sunset on viewing deck, happy hour and dinner (own expense) at the Thirsty Dingo Bar.

Day 4: 06 July 2022 – Kings Canyon (B)
The Rim Walk begins with a challenging 500-step climb – worth every step! Upon reaching the summit, you will marvel at the breathtaking views of Watarrka National Park and into the canyon itself before descending into the green oasis of the “Garden of Eden.” Return to the resort to relax by the pool.

Day 5: 07 July 2022 – Kings Canyon to Uluru & Field of Light (B)
Depart your resort and enjoy Lunch at the Kings Canyon Station (own expense). We make a short stop at Mt Conner Lookout and an opportunity to see view the salt lakes before we head to your resort in Uluru, Sails in the Desert. After check in and a rest, this evening we enter the Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park to enjoy the awe inspiring sunset over Uluru with a drink in hand. Return to the resort for dinner. This evening we take a trip out to see the Field of Light display.

Day 6: 08 July 2022 – Sunrise Tour & Sounds of Silence (D)
Early start to meet your guide for an Uluru sunrise tour. Your guide will take you to a special location at the Talinguru Nyakunytjaku viewing area to watch the sun rise over this amazing monolith. Breakfast back at the resort for own arrangements. Then head back out to the Rock and enjoy a drive around the base of Uluru. Time to experience the Mala walk and learn more about the culture of the Anangu (local Aboriginal people). Return to the resort for afternoon at leisure. This evening, we have included the Sounds of Silence Experience – a spectacular dinner under the stars.

Day 7: 09 July 2022 – West MacDonnell Ranges (B)
Early start to meet your guide to commence your private Kata Tjuta tour. Firstly we enjoy Sunrise over Kata Tjuta with a light breakfast served. Your guide will reveal the many attributes of this diverse environment. Arriving at Walpa Gorge and you can walk between the mighty conglomerate domes and hear how these many domes that make up Kata Tjuta have evolved over millions of years. Stop at the viewing platform for views of Kata Tjuta and Uluru in the distance. Return to the resort for an leisure afternoon.

Day 8: 10 July 2022 – Return to Alice Springs
Enjoy a leisure breakfast (own expense) at the resort before travelling back to Alice Springs with a visit the Erldunda Roadhouse for lunch (own expense), then enjoy a short stop at Stuarts Well (optional Camel Ride). Rest of day free to enjoy the resort before a farewell dinner (own expense).

Day 9: 11 July 2022 – Tour ends (B)
Enjoy a leisure breakfast then make your way to the airport for your departure flight.
