Why do some families go all the way to Thailand just to lie on the beach? We don’t know either. Our family adventure mixes a whole lot of bona fide Thai experiences – everything from a longboat tour of Bangkok, a meeting with a hill tribe community, a cooking class in Chiang Mai and a sombre visit to the infamous bridge over the River Kwai – with a little bit of sand and surf, too. Hey, even the Buddha reclined and relaxed once in a while, right?

Family adventures are designed for groups travelling with children between the ages of 6 and 17. Your group must have a child in order to book a Family tour, and anyone under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The itinerary has been designed with the needs of the whole family in mind. Effective May 1, 2025, all travelers entering Thailand through air, land, or sea must complete the Thailand E-Arrival form. You must register at least 3 days before arrival.
Day 1 - Bangkok
Arrive in Bangkok. Arrival transfer included.
Day 2 - Bangkok
Guided longboat tour of Bangkok's klongs and Wat Po. Opt to visit Grand Palace, National Museum or Siam Ocean World. 3 optional activities
Day 3 - Bangkok / Kanchanaburi
Transfer to Kanchanaburi. Visit the Bridge over the River Kwai and explore Erawan National Park.
Day 4 - Kanchanaburi / Chiang Mai
Visit the temple complex of Ayutthaya before catching an overnight train to Chiang Mai.
Day 5 - Chiang Mai
Enjoy a city tour of Chiang Mai and visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep temple, spectacularly situated on a mountaintop at an altitude of 3,520 feet.
Day 6 - Chiang Mai
Take part in a Thai cooking class and enjoy some free time to explore the city.
Day 7 - Chiang Mai / Phuket
Fly to Phuket and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy free time to enjoy the beach and relax.
Day 8 - Phuket
Free day to relax on the beach and explore Phuket.
Day 9 - Phuket

• we act as your booking agent: TWAC is a booking services provider, and curates the Travel Offers available on our website.
