TASMAN PENINSULA KAYAK TOUR - From $240-$260

Tasmania's (if not Australia's) most spectacular day sea kayaking tour

  • Kayak To Cape Hauy
  • A Star Feature Of Tasmania’s Newest World-Class Hike - The Three Capes Track

PADDLING PERIOD: 1 November and 30 April

Get up-close and personal with the southern hemisphere’s highest sea cliffs and resident Australian fur seals.

This exhilarating adventure will have you kayaking along the coast of the Tasman National Park towards Cape Hauy, a star feature of Tasmania’s newest world-class hike - the Three Capes Track.

At sea level you’ll truly appreciate the scale of Australia’s highest sea cliffs, gazing up at 200-metre-high fluted rock formations, peering into natural sea caves, photographing the towering Candlestick, and searching for climbers on the Totem Pole - a sheer column famed amongst thrill-seeking rock climbers.

Enjoy our gourmet Tasmanian lunch at a deserted cove, paddle over a semi-submerged shipwreck and marvel at the abundant marine wildlife that lives along this coast, including resident fur seals, soaring sea eagles, diving gannets, cliff-nesting cormorants, peregrine falcons, and if we’re lucky - a pod of dolphins or a migrating whale.
