Experience the enchanting beauty of Taiwan like never before with our 11-day adventure. This captivating tour unveils the stunning coastlines, green mountain villages and enchanting cities this island gem has to offer on an epic coast-to-coast tour.
Your adventure begins in Taiwan’s vibrant capital, Taipei, where you will marvel at the spectacular skyline; crowned by the 509m-tall, bamboo-shaped Taipei 101 skyscraper, and immerse yourself in Taiwan’s history at the National Palace Museum. From here, you will embark on a scenic excursion aboard the picturesque Pingxi Railroad, winding through the lush mountains, and explore the charming green villages of Shifen and Jiufen. These picturesque towns are famous for their sky lanterns and narrow alleyways packed with teahouses, street-food shacks and souvenir shops. As you journey eastward to Hualien City, the night comes alive at the Dongdaemun Night Market, offering a delicious array of Taiwanese street food such as bubble tea, Taiwanese meatballs and scallion pancakes. Once you have satisfied your tastebuds, journey to the mesmerising Taroko National Park, with its awe-inspiring marble cliffs, emerald forests and turquoise rivers. Adventure seekers can get their dose of adrenaline when they cross the spine-tingling Liwu Valley suspension bridge 53 metres above the forests below!
Your adventure continues as you travel along the remote east coast aboard the meticulously restored 'Breezy Blue' train, a beloved icon of the Taiwanese railroad, in operation since the 1950s. Feel the breeze and take in the picturesque ocean views on this nostalgic train ride before reaching Kaohsiung, where you will visit the Lotus Pond, Dragon and Tiger Temple, and Qi Ming Tang Temple. From here, you will visit one of the best-preserved historical sites in Taiwan, Hinoki Village, a complex of beautifully preserved wooden buildings from when the Japanese ruled. Continue into the mountains to the Alishan National Scenic Area, where you will explore beautiful natural surroundings, including pristine forests and ancient trees. Finally, experience an unforgettable cruise on Sun Moon Lake, the largest lake in Taiwan. Nestled in the foothills of rolling hills and mountains, sailing on the lake’s calm waters is the perfect experience to wrap up your Taiwan odyssey before returning to Taipei for one final day of leisure.
This fantastic package includes return international full-service flights, 9 nights of hotel accommodation, 10 meals including daily breakfast, 2 iconic railway journeys, return airport transfers and so much more.

Please note:
• Due to the Taiwan earthquake that hit Hualien City on April 3rd, access to the city is limited and the nearby Taroko Gorge is closed. The Taiwan government is working to restore access to Taroko Gorge with the goal to have it open by the end of 2024 at the latest.
• If Taroko Gorge is not open by the time you travel, you will skip Hualien City and Taroko Gorge. Instead, you will travel by high-speed train from Taipei to Taitung to enjoy a 2-night stay and alternative sightseeing to explore the beautiful countryside of the East Coast of Taiwan.
