­Tour Timings

Istanbul Tours: The tours will start between 09:00 and 09:30 AM. Exact timing will depend on the hotel locations of other group members. For a definite timing, please contact the guide of the Ephesus team via WhatsApp: 

Important Note: Please be aware that Istanbul tours are fully walking tours, and there is no private transportation included. If transportation is needed, it will be via tram or taxi.

­Pamukkale Tours: Pickup will be between 08:30 and 09:00 AM. For specific timing, please contact the guide via WhatsApp: 

­Ephesus Tours: Pickup will be between 09:00 and 09:30 AM (subject to change based on flight times). For definite timing, contact the guide via WhatsApp: 

­Cappadocia Tours: Pickup will be between 09:00 and 10:00 AM. For final confirmation, please text your guide via WhatsApp: 

­Entrance Fees

Please note that entrance fees to all sites are not included in your tour package. Here are the current entrance fees for your reference:

Topkapi Palace: 50 Euros per person

Hagia Sophia Mosque: 25 Euros per person

Basilica Cistern: 30 Euros per person

­Ephesus Ancient City: 40 Euros per person

House of Virgin Mary: 15 Euros per person

­Pamukkale: 30 Euros per person

Cleopatra's Pool: 10 Euros per person (optional for swimming)

­Goreme Open Air Museum: 25 Euros per person

Please note that entrance fees can only be paid by credit card or Turkish Lira. Euros and dollars are not accepted for entrance fees by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

­Museum Pass Turkey

Instead of paying separate entrance fees daily, we recommend purchasing a Museum Pass Turkey valid for 15 days for 165 Euros (payable by credit card or Turkish Lira). Please ask your guide if you would like to purchase the pass.

Note: The pass is not valid for the House of Virgin Mary in Ephesus or the Basilica Cistern in Istanbul.

­Recommendations for Day Tours

If your tour includes a visit to a mosque, please wear appropriate clothing:

Ladies: Bring a scarf to cover your head.

Men: Shorts are not permitted inside mosques.

Comfortable walking shoes and sunglasses are highly recommended.

For the Pamukkale tour, bring your swimsuit if you plan to swim in Cleopatra's Pool (extra fee required).

­­­­Travel Logistics

Pamukkale Distance: The drive from Kuşadası to Pamukkale is about 185 kilometers (approximately 3 hours).

Tour Duration: Most tours will run from 09:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the latest.

­Communication and Weather

Guide Contact: Please text us on WhatsApp 1–2 days before your tour to get the contact details of your guide. It’s best to communicate directly with your guide to coordinate everything.

Weather Check: We recommend checking Turkey’s weekly weather forecast before your journey and the daily weather 1 day prior to your tours.

Airport Meeting Points

Istanbul Airport: You will receive a meeting instructions video prior to your arrival. We will also send the contact details 1 day before your tour.

Izmir Airport: The meeting point is at the exit of Arrival Gate A (there are only two gates).

Cappadocia Airports: The meeting point is at the exit of the arrival gate (only one gate).

Antalya Airport: The meeting point is at the exit of the arrival gate (only one gate).

Denizli Çardak Airport: The meeting point is at the exit of the arrival gate (only one gate).

­Domestic Flights

For domestic flights, the luggage allowance is 15 kg check-in and 8 kg cabin baggage per person. Over this allowance, you may need to pay extra. Domestic flight tickets will be sent to you 1 day before your flight. We usually book evening flights to allow better planning for your days. Please note that some flights, especially from Izmir to Cappadocia, may have connecting flights through Istanbul due to limited direct flight availability.

• Some confirmed bookings are non-refundable if cancelled by you and it is your responsibility to check if this applies.
• We will be entitled to retain our service fees even if a booking is cancelled or does not proceed for any reason which is not our fault.
• It is your responsibility to make yourself aware of all information relevant to your travel plans, including but not limited to visa requirements and health precautions.
• There may be some additional fees or other incentives from Suppliers.
• We are not liable for the recent updates of any published Supplier content including websites and brochures.

Covid-19 Booking Cancellation Policy 
TWAC Tour packages are non-refundable. If your Tour package is affected by Covid-19-related travel restrictions and you are unable to travel, you will receive either a free date change (credit that is specific to your original package and purchase value) or an open credit less any non-recoverable supplier fees to the value of your original purchase for use on any other package available via the TWAC website. 
Please note: Date change credits are subject to availability and not guaranteed until confirmed by TWAC, not the tour operator you are due to stay with.

The standard cancellation policy will apply if you cannot travel because you have tested positive for Covid-19.
