We have an available position for a salesperson trainee & intern to get both theoretical and practical experience at a professional workplace. This will be a two-month program including one month with intensive training from our staff to help you get both theoretical & practical knowledge and the other month will be your part-time internship with us. Depends on your performance, you will receive reference letters, a certificate to recognise your work after two months, etc.

1. Position Description

  • ​Role Title: Salespeople Trainee & Intern

  • Status: Part Time

Note: Since training sessions are provided, fee will be included for this program

2. Time & Location

  • Time: 2 to 3 days per week from 10am to 4pm

  • Travel With A Cause, 41-43 Victoria St, Hobart CBD, Tasmania TAS 7000

3. Requirements

  • Proficient/fluent in English

  •  Good attitude and willingness to learn

4. What You Will Learn

  • Learn how to answer the phone and answer customer enquiries

  • Respond to Spirit of Tasmania Enquiries either via phone or email

  • Respond to online and phone enquiries regarding tours, accommodation, packages, travel insurance, group tours etc.

  • Make travel and accommodation reservations

  • Create itineraries through Travefy

  • Issue Parks Passes using the Parks Pass kiosk

  • Make invoices and Credit Notes on Xero

6. Key Accountabilities In The Internship Time

  • Answer customer's enquiries about products & services via phone and email

  • Support clients to book tours and accommodation, book tickets of Spirit of Tasmania, make itinerary, etc

  • Answer customer’s phone and emails

  • Support clients to book tours & accommodation, make itineraries, etc (you’ll be 
    trained if you successfully become our intern)
