Cradle Mountain, Wineglass Bay, Tasman Peninsula, Bay of Fires, the wild west coast… this unforgettable journey around Tasmania has it all! Immerse yourself in the beauty of this small island and see all the icons on our epic multi-day experience. This is a combination of our East Coast Explorer and Wild West Coast multi-day trips wrapped into one big adventure.
Step into breathtaking wilderness with spectacular views – the dramatic sea cliffs and rock formations of the Tasman Peninsula, the turquoise water and serenity at Wineglass Bay, the striking orange lichen-covered rocks and crystal-clear water at larapuna/Bay of Fires, and the famous Cradle Mountain where ancient pines fringe glacial lakes. See raw beauty at its best as we travel through Tasmanian World Heritage-listed areas where it’s rumoured the Tasmanian Tiger still roams. Glide along tranquil rivers with mirror reflections of the surrounding rainforest and watch the sunset over Ocean Beach – Tasmania’s longest beach.
This is an opportunity to discover our rich convict past as we visit small historic villages and explore the Port Arthur Historic Site. Hear stories of convict survival and attempted escapes as the brave ventured into the unforgiving wilderness. Learn about Alexander Pearce – the Irish convict who escaped with fellow inmates and allegedly ate them one by one. We see a play that brings this last escape to life (though no one in the audience will be eaten!).
Sample Tasmania’s premium wines and sparkling matched with seasonal fresh produce at some of the Tamar Valley’s most prestigious vineyards. See some of the world’s most rare animals at East Coast Natureworld. Being an island, our isolation has encouraged wildlife to flourish making Tasmania a natural haven for Australian wildlife. Get up close and personal with Tasmanian Devils, spotted quolls, wombats, wallabies, birds and reptiles.
We’ve got your travel, accommodation and itinerary sorted so you can sit back, relax and truly absorb all this magnificent island has to offer. Don’t miss the amazing opportunity to see the best of Tasmania.
See why this is the most photographed view in Tasmania – a stunning pristine bay, shaped like a wineglass bordered by the pink granite Hazards mountain range.
Breathe deep, this is some of the freshest air on the planet. Walk around the picturesque Dove Lake while gazing at the craggy alpine mountain and stroll through mossy forest.
