Day 1 Fly to Manila, Philipphines
Your tour begins when your flight arrives at Manila Airport. Aim to arrive lunchtime/early afternoon. Cultural Welcome and dinner
Day 2 Church and Spanish Quarter
We take a jeepney to MZCF to experience dynamic praise and worship service. After lunch we head to Intramuros, the Spanish walled city to understand Jose Rizal’s struggle to liberate his people from 333 years of Spanish rule. A kalesa ride and a visit to Manila’s most beautiful churches awaits you.
Day 3 MZCF Slum Feeding & Shopping
A sleep in before heading to Zone 3 to participate in MZCF slum feeding and see the infectious smiles of the locals. In the afternoon we will go to local shopping malls to chill.
Day 4 to 6 Bayani Challenge Volunteering*
Gawad Kalinga (GK) is an incredible organisation working in 3000 communities with a goal to lift 5 million Filipinos out of poverty by 2024. “Bayani” means Hero in the Filipino language Tagalog. The challenge involves volunteering in local barangays via school painting, mangrove planting and feeding programs. Morning is split group activity of "Kusinang kalinga" - preparation of food and serving in barangays, schools and Heroes Home Build project. Afternoon activities we split into riverbank clean up and “Palarong Pinoy” play games with village children.
*Actual volunteering depends on needs of GK Village.
Day 7 Explore Coron Town
Fly to Coron and start your island hopping adventure. Palawan has recently been ranked #1 Best Island In The World. Pickup from airport in air-conditioned van. In the afternoon go shopping and/or relax with a 2 hour massage. 4PM Enjoy a relaxing City Tour then climb the 700 steps of Mt. Tapyas for stunning views of the town. 5:30PM Off to the therapeutic “Maquinit Hot Spring” to immerse and relax those tired muscles.
Day 8 Coron Island Hopping 1
8:30AM Off to the famous Kayangan Lake, winner of cleanest and greenest lake for three consecutive years. Experience the change in water temperature or “thermo cline” at Twin Lagoon followed by lunch and spectacular snorkeling.
Day 9 Coron Island Hopping 2
8:30AM Visit islands famous for their pristine long stretch of white sand, scenic views and beautiful locations. Relax and unwind and reflect on your journey so far.
Day 10 Leave Coron, Fly Back to Manila
Early morning flight back to Manila for last minute shopping and conclude our tour.
