Mount Field & Salmon Ponds

$85.00Price

On our way to Tasmania’s oldest national park we pass through the Derwent Valley, the historic settlement of New Norfolk and the hop fields of Bushy Park.

Journey north west of Hobart and into the wilderness, feed some giant fish and experience Tasmania’s oldest national park on this breathtaking adventure

We make a stop at the Salmon Ponds, large ponds brimming with different species of freshwater fish. The gardens at the ponds are a great place to enjoy your lunch or maybe stroll along the riverbank to look for a platypus. Next we arrive at the wilderness wonderland of Mt Field National Park. The park has a variety of scenic highlights and wildlife with stunning walks through enormous fern forests, some of the world’s tallest trees and the beautiful Russell Falls.

Return Day Trip from Hobart 11.30am to 5.30pm
