Leslie Vale is a rural residential neighbourhood in the Kingborough local government district within the Hobart LGA of Tasmania. The location is approximately 8 kilometres west of Kingston. Leslie Vale, a state suburb, with 351 residents according to the 2016 census. We will assist the horses and plant trees at Leslie Vale, enhancing their pasture and assisting with weed clearance. We will also have the opportunity to pet a horse and feed it apples and carrots.
We have done volunteering tours before similar to Horse Therapy and Tree Planting. If you are interested in our travel and volunteer trips, are seeking a meaningful weekend activity to benefit the Tasmanian community and want to enjoy the sea wind and crisp air. Then the volunteer trip on September 25 is certainly for you.

We will gather at the Travel with a Cause office at 10:00 a.m., depart for Leslie Value at 10:15 a.m., and arrive at 10:30 a.m. Before beginning the volunteer session, we will provide a quick presentation. You will, as always, be a part of the tree planting and horse pasture if you participate in this eco-friendly event. You will help improve the horse pasture and eradicate weeds, as well as feed the horses with carrots and apples. We will come back to Travel with a Cause office around 2pm.

The day includes round-trip transportation, a pizza lunch, and snacks, as well as numerous photo opportunities. In gratitude of your generous contributions, you will also receive a personalised volunteer certificate signed by our CEO.
